Prologis Park Boom already consists of a modern logistics facility located in Industrial Park Krekelenberg I. A new logistics development of approximately 50,000 m² is being constructed in the adjacent Industrial Park Krekelenberg II. The distribution center will be built on a plot of 7.8 hectares and be a state-of-the-art logistics facility that will incorporate specific requirements of the tenant. Building plans have been drafted for a facility that consists of four units of warehouse, office and mezzanine space that can be leased separately. Boom DC2 is available from August 2023. 

Boom is situated in the middle of the Belgian logistics corridor between Antwerp and Brussels. Because of its proximity to the main European consumers markets in France and Germany, this region is considered one of the most strategic locations for European distribution activities. The Port of Antwerp is only 15 kilometers away, and Brussels Airport is just 35 kilometers away. The nearby barge terminal provides water access to the Port of Antwerp and the European hinterland. Krekelenberg has its own access road with a direct connection (N171) to the A12 motorway (Antwerp to Brussels). A connection between the A12 and the E19 is also planned.
