Apex Global Logistics (NL) has signed a long-term lease agreement with Prologis regarding Prologis Park Waalwijk DC2BC for 38,000 square meters. With this well-equipped, newly built warehouse on a strategic location (multimodal transport hub), Apex will be able to expand and provide its customers unparalleled quality, value, and growth. The state-of-the-art all-electric warehouse was developed with a strong focus on well-being, health, ecology, durability, quality, flexibility, and appearance, for which the warehouse is expected to receive a BREEAM Excellent certificate.

With their headquarters based in Singapore, Apex offers clients across the globe a wide range of logistics services, including air freight, ocean transportation, warehouse management, customs brokerage, supply chain management, and other value-added services to a variety of customers. By signing a long-term lease agreement with Prologis at Prologis Park Waalwijk DC2BC, the company can expand its worldwide presence and network to optimally cater to their clients’ wishes.

Sustainability and well-being
Prologis Park Waalwijk DC2BC is a modern, well-equipped warehouse with an outstanding strategic location, offering excellent transport links by motor- and waterways. The 38,000 square meter facility was developed with well-being, health, ecology, durability, quality, flexibility, and design as key focus points. As a result, the warehouse is equipped with solar panels on the roof and is all-electric with on-site charging stations for electric cars and bicycles. To ensure a healthy work environment the warehouse boasts an optimal amount of daylight. LED-lighting is provided, and biodiversity is supported with nature-inclusive landscaping. With this focus on sustainability and well-being Prologis has achieved a WELL-certificate and aims to receive a BREEAM certificate with an ‘Excellent’ rating or even higher. Apex Logistics will start using the warehouse directly and will be implementing several services of the Prologis Essentials Platform to optimize operations.
