The ideal components for the perfect get-together? We discovered them at our annual Prologis Benelux event for our contacts in Breda, Netherlands.
Excellent weather conditions, an impressive location (Landgoed Wolfslaar), delicious catering (Manoir), inspiring entertainment (illusionist Victor Mids) and a limited number of speeches. These were the ingredients for the successful Prologis Benelux Get-Together 2018 on 13 September. The highlight was the presentation of the prestigious Prologis Benelux Award, which was received by No. 1 Broker 2018 Douglas van Oers, co-head of Logistics and Industrial at Savills. It was a token of gratitude for the essential contribution made by van Oers and his company to Prologis in the recent acquisition of a strategic location at the Port of Rotterdam.
The Contact Event of the Year
After the presentation, the conversation began. “Usually, we travel all over the Benelux to talk to one another, but at the annual get-together, we’re all under one roof,” said Sander Breugelmans, VP Transactions Prologis Benelux. “So we see this event as a great moment to focus on our partnerships. We can look back on many successful years, but this year was special. Together with our partners, we were able to set up a lot of wonderful projects. And we want to show our appreciation to everyone who contributed to them.”
The annual Prologis Get-Together has become an extraordinary event. Why does it work so well? “We stay as true as possible to our concept,” said Breugelmans. “So that it remains familiar and something to look forward to—the contact event of the year. Of course we’re all incredibly busy, but this event forces you to take time to chat together quietly in great surroundings. That’s what it’s all about really—celebrating the special relationship we have with each other. I’m already looking forward to the next edition, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
