For the 9th year running, #prologispeople from across the globe have taken part in Stelvio for Life. On September 2, our 53-strong team have hiked, ran or biked to the top of the 21 km Passo dello Stelvio, one of Italy’s most iconic mountain passes, as part of a fundraising event in aid of vital cancer treatment.

The event supports the Stelvio for Life Foundation, a charity organisation committed to furthering the development of effective cancer research and treatment based on DNA type - minimising side effects whilst maximizing recovery.

Over past editions, our teams have raised over €720,000 for the cause and were highly motivated to surpass the 2023 target of €81,249 to add on to this total.

About

DNA-based cancer research aims to provide personalised treatment for every patient. In the Netherlands, the Stelvio for Life Foundation contributes through the Center of Personalized Cancer Treatment Foundation (CPCT) in connecting hospitals and Academic Medical Centres to the research database and treatment possibilities, increasing awareness and success rates. A further focus is on building international partnerships, to continuously expand access and contribution bringing possibilities to more patients around the world.
