AMSTERDAM (31 October, 2018) - Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that Prologis has signed an agreement of approx. 16,000 square meters with Picnic, a fast growing online supermarket in The Netherlands and Germany.
Prologis Eemhaven DC4 is a 16,000 square meter modern distribution facility. Online supermarket Picnic will lease the whole facility. Picnic will use Eemhaven DC4 for national distribution. Prologis is a knowledgeable supplier being able to offer high-quality facilities.”

Prologis Park Eemhaven is a multi-modal location in the Port of Rotterdam, directly adjacent to the A15 and A4 motorways, as well as the ECT and Uniport container terminals. The park is in close proximity to Rail Service Center Rotterdam and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. All customers in Prologis Park Eemhaven benefit from a direct connection to Rotterdam, Europe’s largest logistic and industrial hub. Prologis currently owns ten buildings at Prologis Eemhaven Park.
Picnic was advised by De Mik Bedrijfshuisvesting from Rotterdam and Prologis was advised by Cushman & Wakefield. De Mik Bedrijfshuisvesting has been responsible for the expansion of the Picnic Fulfillment centers in the Netherlands.
