AMSTERDAM (7 November 2018) – Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced a long-term lease agreement for approximately 8,000 square meters with Selecta/Pelican Rouge, a leading provider of high-grade coffees and coffee vending machines.
In October, Selecta/Pelican Rouge moved to the Boom DC1 distribution facility, which is part of Prologis Park Boom at Krekelenberg industrial park. Boom DC1 comprises four units with a joint floor area of about 40,000 square meters.
“We look forward to working with Selecta/Pelican Rouge and are excited that the company selected our high-quality facility, located in Belgium’s prime logistics corridor. In fact, research by Prologis has revealed that the Antwerp-Brussels corridor best meets key logistic requirements,” said Marijn van den Heuvel, director, leasing officer, Prologis Benelux.
Tim Goossens, General Manager, Belgium Selecta/Pelican Rouge, said: “We were seeking a central location for our national distribution operations to support our rapid growth. With its strong network and expertise, Prologis helped us select this excellent site in Boom. We plan to further pursue our growth ambitions from here.”
Prologis was advised by Groep Hugo Ceusters SCMS.
Prologis is a leading provider of logistics real estate in the Benelux, with approximately 2 million square meters of logistics and distribution space as of September 30, 2018.
